Our Team

Bahgi Berhane is the founder and CEO of Frontiers International Consulting. With over 17 years of experience spanning the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group's private sector arm), the Millennium Challenge Corporation, Good Works International, and Noble Energy (now Chevron Corporation), she brings unparalleled expertise in both public and private sector operations.

As an innovative leader and entrepreneurial strategist, Bahgi ensures optimal results and impact for portfolios and policy initiatives. Her key accomplishments include:

  • Energy Infrastructure Transformation: Led the design of multiple Energy Compacts across West Africa, including Togo ($500M) and Senegal ($500M), fundamentally transforming the region's energy infrastructure landscape

  • White House Liaison: Served as liaison between The White House and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) through the Presidential Advisory Council for Doing Business in Africa (PAC DBIA), facilitating engagement between Fortune 500 companies (Caterpillar, Citi, Dow, GE, IBM) and US Government agencies

  • Strategic Development: Developed comprehensive recommendations to increase local content in African oil & gas supply chains and implement corporate social responsibility initiatives, including a $1.6B LNG project (Noble Energy and McDermott)

  • Independent Power Producer Program: Pioneered a groundbreaking $35 million Independent Power Producer program in Burkina Faso, providing transaction advisory technical assistance to the Ministry of Energy and SONABEL while mobilizing $17M from the European Investment Bank
